Triton X-100 is a non-ionic surfactant that does not dissociate in water, has high stability in solution, is not easily affected by strong electrolyte inorganic salts, and can be combined with lipids such as phospholipids in biological membranes. Soluble complex; the hydrophobic end can also combine with the hydrophobic region of the membrane protein to form a complex and dissolve in the solution. Treating cell sheets with Triton X-100 solves the above-mentioned problems and obtains satisfactory results. TritonX-100 is a non-ionic surfactant (commonly known as a detergent), which can dissolve the cell membrane in immunocytochemistry by dissolving the lipid components on the cell membrane, so that the antibody can enter the cell and bind to the antigen.
